Green bananas... NOT plantains! Trust me, there's a difference. I know some latinos call bananas "plátano", but in PR, "plátano=plantain" and "guineo=banana". They're not the same😂 Therefore, the masa in Puerto Rican pasteles is made of "guineo verde=green banana" and not plantains. ANYWAY, it made me so happy that everyone on this video loved pasteles. #ProudBoricua 🇵🇷
