I've helped ID a ton of LEGO sets, but this is first time someone asked for help IDing one of the very first toys LEGO make; a wooden car!

Kind of like Nintendo, a lot of people don't realize they started out as a toy company and have been making toys since the 1800s.
That perfectly explains why Nintendo consoles are first and foremost made to be fun to play with they are always releasing weird toy-like things, like the Alarmo or the hundreds of amiibo they've made.
In fact, Nintendo directly copied Lego in the '60s with a brand of brick building toys called N&B.
Nintendo actually managed to outsell Lego in Japan for a while, but eventually stopped producing them.
They were never taken to court by Lego, I think they were just scared off by the threat of potential legal action.

It's crazy that someone actually has one of the original, original Lego products. And from the 40s, too! I would absolutely love to own one myself, but that's highly unlikely to happen 🤷

We actually have an unpacked untouched cirka 1950s lego car toy! It was meant for grandma’s brother after he got out of hospital, he never got out sadly and died at 4 years old

I have no idea on the car but some of the earlier Lego sets or builder set watch the original story on Amanda created Lego itself. It’s actually really interesting. He almost never created the company let alone gotten into it the weather for his kids.
