How much have we normalized smoking, drinking, rude behavior. It’s become so synonymous with teenagers in media. This is one of the worst type of stereotypes. Why does media never show hardworking, responsible, respectful teenagers who have goals and work for them. Not in a toxic way, but through sheer hard work and dedication. Why are they never shown as kind, loving, wise. Because there are teenagers like that in real life.

It’s almost as if since media/film industry are cheating, drinking, smoking, drug addicts, they want the rest of the world to become like them characterless
