As always guys, thanks for watching. Leave suggestions for new skills I should learn by replying to *this* comment. That way it cleans up the comment section a little bit.

Thanks so much! :)

An alternative to impress students in a whiteboard classroom is to bring unusually colored markers. I remember everyone in my school was crazy about this teacher who had purple, orange and teal markers. They were also super pigmented and smooth so everything she wrote with them was extremely satisfying to watch.

Fun fact: you think he’s just pressing down hard. But he’s actually moving his fingers at Mach 10

My Dad (Harvard ‘50, Chemistry) introduced me to this technique, which he learned from one of his professors. So it goes back at least that far!

I like how he didn't even look anything up he just kinda figured it out

Edit because people keep talking about it in the replies: Yes, I know that’s the whole point of the video. I just said that because I’ve watched his other videos before where he has looked up info and/or tutorials, and for this video he didn’t do that and still figured it out.

Old school physics/ math teacher here: back in the 70's - 80's nearly everyone working with blackboards knew how to do this. Most physicists and mathematicians I know actually prefer chalkboards to whiteboards to this day.

Honestly there’s something about chalkboards that makes them so much cooler than whiteboards

3:58 for those of you wondering, he was beginning to say "should I have checked my classroom before making this video?"
