I was very skeptical about this TV. But I bought it and installed it in my (very bright) living room. I have to say, I am blown away. It is impressively great! I was ready to return it if I was not satisfied, but I now think I will keep it.

Here’s the problem, some streams come in DV only has higher bit rate than the hdr/dv combo stream so technically you get the better stream if your tv can handle DV, even if you can’t notice the difference? Getting the highest bitrate stream is always a nice bonus to have

Those matte haters are so annoying. There is only one TV like that on the market and the haters want to kill it so desperately, taking away the only option for those ppl with bright rooms, who really need a TV like this. Honestly whats the matter with you? Just STFx

Glossy TVs are so common and cheap looking. Mat finish is so much more high end and sleek. That S95D Quantom Dot OLED is incredible, it blows most of the other OLEDs out of the water,

What about the raised black levels? Put your face near this TV in dark room environment and play something dark and check if it looks black or greyish?

That BDI stand cost more than the tv itself 😂…but seriously you do lose out in color pop with matte

Why the colors look odd and shadows too much bright. It might be the camera or the matte coating.

Just try putting the light source directly opposite the TV it completely blows out the screen, gloss is far better....
