I’ve only ever used synthetic web slings to lift hoppers, bundles of pipes, conduit, and hoppers frames. I have a job interview for shipping and receiving heavy loads so I’m here to brush up on all things lifting. The heaviest load was probably 5 tons.

This video was very helpful! I prefer synthetic lifting slings, mainly because of how lightweight they are.

43t CNC. 2x 20t Round endless slings on the back & 1 big ol' 35t bow shackle on the front with the sling according. Had to get Mammut in with there Mega lift. Guy said it could do 200t to 6m. Thats impressive 👏

What do you recommend for lifting steel coils? We currently use wire ropes but I'm considering trying out eye and eye round slings
