On the 18.95 gain BOGO deal does it matter that the $9.95 is a store coupon? The reason that i ask is it use to be that you could stack one store coupon and one manufacturer coupon but not 2 store coupons on the same item. I agree with you that it should be an anyday deal (BOGO) then the $5/$25 Saturday, but DG and the coupon system have so many rules. Plus, now the new system stores are crazy. Thank you for the deals. I have been away 2 years.

None of these deals ever work for me!!!
This was it for me!!!
I will drive another 30 minutes up the road to Walmart and pay full price before I ever go back into one of these Dollar General and try to do a coupon deal !!!!
This cannot just be happening to me, I cannot be the only one that this never works out for !!
The simple gain deal cost me $23 for two items. Why?
The cashier could not answer that question . I went in there with $100 bill expecting to spend $40. I spent $88 and some change I say this every week because every week I go to the store I spend an hour or longer scanning items and attaching coupons and making sure everything is just like it’s supposed to be, every week I leave. with a handful of receipts that I don’t understand because it does not reflect the prices that I see when I scan this merchandise.I
Was an extreme coupon or for over 10 years I’ve had thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars worth of items in my house at one time that I got for free and even received loads of cash, but I’ve never seen anything like Dollar General and they’re crazy coupon policy !!
Sorry about the rant. I’m just really really upset because it doesn’t matter to these employees. they get paid the same and I understand that my daughter is literally the manager at the store. There’s nothing they can do. I believe this is just a way to suck us into these stores thinking we’re gonna get these great deals and I do believe that some people do get incredible deals, but I’m not one of those people .
