Friday's extended Cleveland weather forecast: Tracking rain for the weekend in Northeast Ohio

As an Air Quality Alert remains in effect for a handful of counties in Northeast Ohio, we're also tracking some rain / storm chances for the weekend ahead.

“Later today, we’ll start to see some isolated showers and storms," explains 3News meteorologist Hollie Strano. "Then more numerous showers and storms into your Saturday, and then into your Sunday the same kind of deal.”

The wet weather will continue into your Monday as well with highs in the low t- mid 80s through the weekend.

TODAY: Mostly cloudy with isolated storm chances. Warmer. Mid 80s.

SATURDAY: Scattered storms. Mid 80s.

SUNDAY: Scattered storms. Low 80s.
