i love ergon grips...few of my bikes are using them....anyway..ergon is so ahead of its time..imagine..5 years ago they have already been using Ai presenter for their videos...i havent found any other bike company does it.😁🤣

Ok, a pity that so many commenters here ere more obsessed with the hosts English-speaking skills than the information provided. But now to my message.

A while back I viewed a video about Ergon grips and their fit. I can not find this video anymore. I had a brief conversation with the host, who recommended the GC1 grips for my setup. I ordered them from Germany, because I could not find them in Singapore. And anyway, I feel the dealers here overcharge.

I own some ergonomic shaped grips from China - which did not know before - resembling exactly these GC1. I only saw it when I received the GC1. Frankly, for the asking price the Chinaware is cool. But the GC1 have another quality. The two main points: First the shape. I can't describe but it "fills" the inside of my hands better and therefore distributes the weight better. Second, the material has more give-in without being too soft. It is almost like a bit suspension. This reduces the vibration and provides more comfort. To me these grips are pretty expensive ... but the best grips I ever had on any bike!

Have the GP5 which are great now furred on my Jones H bar but had to use a bloodu mallet to "ease" then on.

Question, can the GP horns be used on their own? For instance, I prefer to put horns between the grip and the brake on my bike, but am interested in using GP5 horns there instead of what I have currently.
