Jayne Anne Phillips, a Buckhannon native, has been awarded a Pulitzer Prize for her fiction novel “Night Watch,” which follows the story of a mother and daughter who seek refuge in the aftermath of the Civil War at the Weston Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum.
