Shielding is very important. Please maintain distance during exposure. Time, Distance, and Shielding is more important aspect.

A massive exposure to the technician. Lead only protects the part it protects. Keep out of the room and out of the line of sight. You can get away with the occasional mobile chest xray, but ensure you don't make your example a habit

A totally illegal and dangerous practice in the developed world. If you doubled your distance from the patient when the exposure happens, the dose will be 1/4 but most radiographers would not tolerate such dangerous work practices and legislation prevents it in developed countries
