Last year, I visited Lisbon, Paris and Marseille. There is comparison between Portugal and France in terms affordability. One additional point is that it is easy for Brazilians to rebate some taxes at the Lisbon airport.

Been to Portugal 3X, it's cheaper than most famous European Countries. The Algarve is beautiful, and they have budget-friendly stays. Lisbon and Porto are the most expensive but still cheaper than Paris, for example.
