KORG volca fm - DIGITAL FM SYNTHESIZER

The volca fm is a three-voice digital FM synthesizer that completely reproduces the sound engine of a classic FM synthesizer, and provides compatibility with it as well. The unique volca interface makes it easy to manipulate distinctive FM sounds even if you're not familiar with the complexities of FM synthesis. The 16-step sequencer that's one of volca's features provides new functions such as WARP ACTIVE STEP and PATTERN CHAIN that let you make even more powerful rhythm patterns.

I love how it was done in DX7 colours to slap Yamaha right in the face. Never cared for FM synthesis at all but Korg is really ahead of their game right now. A person could make a gig worthy set up with about 1, 000 bucks.

There is one thing I'd really like for the Keys, Bass and now FM.. a MIDI transpose of playing sequences. Just imagine being able to shift the whole arrangement as you are jamming! Please add this if at all possible. :)

I'll scoop one of these up to sit alongside the minilogue. That said, I also have a Reface DX. ITS NOT A BAD SYNTH at all! Excellent build quality, easy to program and sounds great.

Really interesting stuff! Its more userfriendly than DIY PreenFM, but has less functions. Sounds huge!
