S4C 1991 Ident Fanfare (Remastered) [5.1 Surround Mix]

A fan remaster of this orchestral fanfare used for S4C's opening television ident from November 1991 onwards, replacing the synthesized jingle that debuted with this ident on September 1990.

The process was where I enhanced the stereo audio of the original ident (from a few TV-recorded uploads of the channel's continuity breaks) in Adobe Audition, then used as reference for recreating the fanfare in FL Studio with some virtual instruments to create the string, brass, and percussive stems.

After rendering each layer of the recreated composition, they were mixed in Audacity to apply some reverberance and gain balance to blend with the original fanfare audio (which may come off as cheating for some audio experts). And finally, generated an LFE track using NUGEN's Halo Upmix plugin in Audition to add in to the six channels.
