Australia's Invictus Games 2020 competitors, staff, family and friends commemorated Anzac Day 2022 with a dawn service on board a Royal Australian Air Force KC-30 aircraft at 20,000+ feet while flying back to Australia, after finishing the fifth Invictus Games in The Hague, Netherlands.

The Invictus Games The Hague 2020 ended on Friday, 22 April 2022 after seven days of spirited competition with a closing ceremony at Invictus Games Park featuring the Duke of Sussex.

The Australian Defence Force and Invictus Australia partnered to support 32 Australian competitors.

The Invictus Games is an international adaptive sporting event for serving and former serving military personnel who have been wounded, injured or become ill during their military service.
Up to 500 competitors from 20 nations will compete in 10 adaptive sports.

The games use the healing power of sport to inspire recovery, support rehabilitation and celebrate the crucial role played by family and friends.
