LSDYNA-ICFD/EM : Battery cooling simulations

Показать описание
The most prominent techniques for battery cooling usually use direct cooling by air flow, indirect liquid cooling or a combination of both. In this conjugate heat transfer study three LS-DYNA solvers are coupled together within the same input deck. The cylindrical battery pack heating is provided by the EM solver battery module and transferred to the thermal solver. The CFD solver then provides the fluid cooling. Several techniques and their effects on temperature rise are investigated : no cooling, water cooling, air cooling or both.
