Welcome to Metropolitan United Church in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We worship together in person and online as one community. All are welcome here.
The Vigil is about sitting with the disciples in their grief before moving into the holy mystery of Easter morning. This service marks the transition from Holy Week to Easter, from Passion to Resurrection, from death to life.
This service is part of the ancient Triduum – marking the three sacred days leading up to Easter.
Leading in worship are The Rev. Jason Meyers and Jim Harbell. The ministry of music is offered by Dr. Jonathan Oldengarm and a quartet of lead singers from the Metropolitan Choir.
