Austin Revealed: Chicano Civil Rights explores the struggle of the Mexican-American community in Austin and Central Texas during the 60’s and 70’s as told by the residents that lived it. Beginning with a push for education and labor reform, the Austin Chicano movement gained momentum as people organized and united to fight for quality education, equal representation, and respect for their diverse culture.
