•Medications to kill the parasites (antiparasitic treatments such as albendazole or praziquantel)
•Powerful anti-inflammatories (steroids) to reduce swelling
If the cyst is in the eye or brain, steroids should be started a few days before other medicines to avoid problems caused by swelling during antiparasitic treatment. Not all patients benefit from antiparasitic treatment.
Sometimes surgery may be needed to remove the infected area.

I’m a Christian, and I’ve loved eating pork my entire life. Recently, I found out that pork isn’t suitable for my diet because I’m blood type B+. That’s why I feel sick when I eat it. Thanks for the information—I’ll be giving up pork for good.

So why did you lie to people so much in this single video? The life cycle of a pork tapeworm is as follows:

When an EGG comes into contact with stomach acid, it becomes a larva that "tunnels" through the tissues, then encysts itself somewhere. These are the larvae in the brain.

When these larval CYSTS come into contact with stomach acid, they then become the adult tapeworm, the one that can grow meters in length and has the ring of hooks, and lives in the intestine.

The adult tapeworm produces the EGGS, which pass in the feces.

You can only get the brain infection from the EGG STAGE, and the egg stage does not dwell in meat. The very reports you're citing will tell you that the infection comes from ingestion of contaminated water, or even produce that came into contact with feces.

You seem to have carefully left out this information in order to deceive your viewers into believing this is a food-borne illness.

The adult worms are a rarer infection, since the cysts are easily killed by cooking. Not to mention, adult tapeworms are not life threatening and very easily treatable.

Discription is a bit misleading. The actual worm grows in the intestines...the cysts contain larvae, immature forms of the worm.

@terrillcase Pork tapeworm is Taenia solium, which can cause the condition mentioned in the video. Just because you haven't become sick doesn't mean that there haven't been contaminated pieces of meat that are undercooked and then served. Do some research, find a microbiologist, etc., and you can find out more for yourself. Or, if you're willing to give it a shot, try out a raw pork diet and see what happens.
