Overcoming Life's Storms with Faith in Christ

As beloved children of God, He calls to us when the storms of life approach, saying, “Come unto me.” As we follow Him, we are promised peace in this life and eternal life in the world to come.

“When I was a young man, I served as counselor to a wise district president in the Church. He tried to teach me. Even though I have seen many times how The Lord has helped me get through my storms throughout life,
Sometimes when I am struggling with something in the moment, I seem to forget the love and mercy that He has shown me those many times before…

But, an important lesson that I have learned recently is that, as I am keeping my covenants with God, and as I turn to Him, He will always be there!!!
He will help me throughout my storms!!!
He loves me so much, and He will stand by me!!!
Even when at times I may feel alone, he will always be with me as I turn to Him!!!

The Lord invites all to come unto Him!!! 💖

This is one of the most beautiful truths ever!!!! Not only that, but we were JUST learning this truth today during seminary, which stands to me as a witness that it is true!!!

President Eyring, Im so grateful that my granddaughter had the privilege of meeting you face to face. A few years Ago. It wasn't a public event so we were blessed to have a photo taken with you. You started to leave an I remember just watching you walk away. After a few steps towards the door you stopped and turned around to look at us again, then you said "I Love You" and turned back and went on your way. I was speechless. You knew what I needed and mor only did I hear the words from you, but I also heard them from Heavenly Father. There wasn't the slightest doubt in my head. Im raising my grandchild, as I have for the past 11 years. Last month I lost my daughter on the 25th of August. Im so grateful to know that we will be together again. I still feel that love that you shared with us, thank you so very much! ❤❤❤
