*COMMON QUESTIONS ABOUT ME*
Where are you from? Born & raised in NYC. I've never lived anywhere else.
What teaching experience do you have? For the past 10 years, I've been a Higher Education English teacher at both a private language institute and a university. I've also taught English camps overseas with Non Profit Organizations. I also help Non Profit Organizations develop programs for free English camps and programs in developing countries.
Why do you teach English? I teach English in order to help people change their lives. In 2007 I went on a humanitarian trip to Cambodia with my church and the people we worked with there begged us to teach them English so that they could get jobs that would get their families out of poverty. At the time, I was a Pre-med major in my university. After that trip, I decided that I wanted to use education to help get people out of poverty and help change their lives. One day I plan to open and help fund English schools in developing countries.
Are you married? Do you have children? I'm a married mom. My husband's name is Jason and my son's name is Jacob. I’m expecting another baby in July 2021.
Do you speak any other languages? Aside from being fluent in English, I speak a moderate level of Spanish. I've learned some basic conversational skills in other languages thanks to my students :-)
