Ooh! Nice! I like that little pedal.
I remember when i was learning sound-engineering, my boss/mentor just got a machine that could do all that. It was a very expensive 19-inch rack unit. And now it comes in a cute little pedal! Great! Does the Verb Square have stereo outputs? That would really help the feeling of the simulated space. (Which is the point of adding reverb, of course)
Here's what i've learned about reverb-modes: 'Room' (and 'Studio', i guess) you can use for anything. The 'Hall' and 'Church' modes work best for monophonic, melodic instruments, like saxophone, or voice, or possibly not-too-fast lead-guitar parts. 'Spring' is great for guitar, especially when playing chords. 'Plate' works really well for drums, percussion, and Funky Basslines. 🤩 And 'Mod' is for general weirdness, i guess... Those underwater vibes. 🌊

i have a real spring reverb built into my old 1970's Gibson "Dou-Medalist" amplifier. 18' long and sounds like someone broke a glass if you accidently bump into it. still works. put a 12" Scorpion speaker in it though.

That is how a demo should be done! A simple riff is repeated slowly using each different setting. Very easy to hear and compare the sounds. I liked the 'church' sound the best.

ANALOG frequency doubling delay. built one in 1982. no patten. plays the note octave higher or lower depending on adjustment, with a delay Electrical Engineering degree helps with getting the sound right electronically and recording it correctly. i like analog effects better. digital is too "perfect". you are wonderful by the way. peace be with you.
