My baby has just turned 10months so she is starting on more solid foods but every time we visit my mother in law she develops constipation. It's my general assumption that the change in routine is to blame since she lives hours away and the same thing happened with my second child.
I fix it by giving her a sippy cup of warm water and massaging her belly. Sometimes letting her hang out in a warm shower with toys can also help because she can squat and the steam is soothing. Yes we might get a shower poop but better out than in
