I listened to this just once through today. Nothing much stood out, but I'd like to give it more time (and I might still review it). Must admit I'm new to them as well.

Oh dear, that's not very encouraging for this album. Especially when you say it's a weak opener and closer. I heard one of the singles and you were right, it was good but not good enough to keep me listening to it. I'm still fairly new to the band and Black Metal as a whole, I love The Satanist. I loved you at your darkest was good but not as good as The Satanist for me. I really wanna check out some of their earlier stuff like Grom and Demigod etc. I'll check this out but won't rush to pick it up. Cheers for your honest review Hector 😊🤘
