Really taken shape now Steven been there and done that with the chassis not wanting to play ball but it's all part of the building process 👍👍

Not looking too shabby, Steven. Sometimes they just give you a hard time like that. Some fit super tight and others just fall into place. Looking forward to seeing the final.

Really looking nice Steven, As many have commented fit issues are part and parcel of modelling we all have them. Press on and upward. Cheer's JV

Haha Steve, I'm fiddling with the body/ chassis as I watch your video. The car is looking good! Thanks for the video 😎👍

Looking pretty good Steven.
I had a hard time getting the body on mine too

Most kits fit well but there are a few that are difficult to get the body on the chassis. Some have to be shoe horned in and some may need fine tuning, depends on the kit. Yours is looking good now.

I’ve heard bad things about the fit of this kit, and it sounds like they’re true. I have all 3 of the AMT ‘51 Chevies, but I’ve only built the slantback. I’ll look forward to the grand finale.

🛵 I'll limit my advise to 3 things.
We must sand the body. At least the ugly lines that don't belong.
Car models should be glossy, not flat.
Chevy Engine Red hadn't evolved yet in 51. Light blue, grey, turquoise, medium blue, copper are engine colors i've seen.

The '51 Chevy kits all have issues. I built the hardtop and had a few problems with fit.
