I was the first person. That was 25 years ago. Haven't quit yet. Slow going though, I've restarted a bunch of times. Today though, I'm taking the N2 exam, and I've lived in Japan for parts of my life.

Turns out "I don't want to take French" is a life changing sentiment.

After watching anime for 6 year, I finally understand some basic Japanese. So I'll be reading light novels with jidoujisho and yomitan to learn how to read (I'm not going to make it)

I'm literally just learning japanese bc several games don't make it out of Japan/are censored so I want to play more games in their original language.

I REALLY wanna learn japanese cause one day I wanna visit Japan and not feel completely disorientated and relying on translators. When I was little my family went to London and at that age I didn't have good grip on English. Yeah I knew the basic but I feel like if I knew the language like I do now, I would have enjoyed myself more. (I am Italian btw)
