New subscriber. 👋 I loved every item you found. They all look very pretty on you and suit your figure. The dress at the end is stunning.
I would leave the green sweater as it is. From my perspective it looks cool as is.
To answer your question, I thrift all of my clothes. I very seldom shop at superstores unless I need underwear and things like that. Everything is mass produced and are really very expensive in super fashion stores.
The superstores have huge profit margins built into their prices. They also build in a factor when reducing items on sale, and even then they will cover the cost per garment and still make a profit, even if it's less of a profit.
I know, because I imported clothes and had my own small business selling ladies fashion.
I like to hunt for treasures at charity shops, flea markets, etc, and buy at a price that I can justify for my budget.
Plus, I find it fun. I live the thrill of the hunt.
That goes for home decor. I thrist for as much as I can.
Thrifting is fun, we give things a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc, chance, save things from the landfill, look after our planet, save money, and can redonate when we get tired of something. And so the cycle continues.
You had a good idea by making a list of what you were looking for and focused on those items. It would be great to find out what you paid per item, and what your total spend was for all those great clothes, compared to what it would have cost new. Then you can feel good about how much you saved and inspire people to be creative and save too. And look fabulous.
