Getting stuck is one of the worst case scenario’s, especially when you are riding by yourself. A lot of times it can be avoided by taking the time to analyze the terrain and riding the bike into a spot where you can get out of deep terrain before you get stuck.

In this case our instructor Edgar Cota build a little bit of momentum, got his feet on the foot pegs and stood up as soon as possible to gain more control. From there he looked for an exit out of the rain run before it got too deep, got on the gas and got the bike out.

It’s very important to stay committed to riding out of the rut. At the point where the bike moves around a lot, riders tend to hesitate and then lose their balance.

First gear and feathering the clutch are a must in these situations.
