HARDEST Material to Machine?

Had to look up what Haynes 188 even is, we dont call it that here in Europe, but my god Nickel chrome is already some tough stuff to machine but throw in cobalt and tungsten and your machinist gets nightmares.

i believe the DIN name would be CrCoNi.

I worked at a machine shop 8 years and only ran manual mill and lathe. C276 and inconel KICKED my ass at times 😂

I machine 800ht welded to stellite 6 everyday. Got to have your coolant right and have a rough out tool.

Haynes isn't so bad. Hastalloy however lol.
