I'm glad that you pointed out how incredibly mid the talent pool has been over the past decade.
The F2-F3 is right now composed of sheer mediocrity (i'd save Bearman) and the only driver who really stand out in the so called 'golden' generation is Verstappen so far (Piastri perhaps)?
Russell has abysmal race-craft and is being trashed by a 38 years old (no matter how good that guy is), Norris is still searching up his first win (although he's finishing this season in an impressive fashion), Leclerc is turning into Alesi, ...
Sure, we got rid of unacceptable drivers like Inoue, but the ice of this being F1's greatest era talent wise is...

I don't necessarily agree will all the points you made, but at least you are a bunch of knowledgeable and articulate fans. It was really good podcast and I enjoyed listening to it. It was better to reduce its length to 2 hours, and it was a good idea to add these time stamps in the description. Keep it up 💪
