It´s so impressive to see how WPL have come from 4WD with plastic gears and size 130 motors to something like this.
They haven´t just improved, say, the drivetrain, then sat around feeling pleased with themselves - they´ve improved the controller boards twice, come up with a really good sound system and found time to develop a trailer using the B24 rear body.
If only some of the major Western manufacturers would be as responsive to consumer demand!
Excellent vid, by the way - you gave it every chance to get up that rock, and in the end it took one. The descent was really impressive, too.

I AM GETTING THE B36 ITS AT THE POST-OFFICE TODAY

My WPL B36 is just a total crap and I am losing patience with it. It was not KM, just the standard RTR. I bought the V2 sound module (from WPL) for it and it didn't work properly (the sound was crackling) and after a while the truck stopped to run reversal. So I changed the electronics again using 3rd party 3 channel ESC from banggood including the receiver and a good controller (which is the only thing that works well), added weights to the wheels and changed all the plastic gearshafts for metal ones. The original plastic gearbox didn' t survive the first run, so I swapped it with 2 speeds gearbox (from WPL). It stopped shifting gears after two rides. I exchanged all the internal gears for metal ones (bought from WPL), it helped for one ride. The shifting servo broke. I swapped it with metal one from banggood and it still didn't shift gears properly. I also upgraded the shifting mechanism with 3d printed element and it also didn't help. So I gave up shifting and I exchanged the gearbox once more with the WPL one gear power box (with metal gears inside) and guess what? It didn't survive its first ride again! On a flat surface! Also 2nd axle - I had to change it twice (bought two from WPL). Now I have the last generation upgraded bridge axle kit (from WPL) in front of me on my desk and I do not know if I want to invest my time to it. Shall I buy another gearbox (including motor and shifting servo)? That metal one for 38 dollars? Or shall I just abandon this crappy, but expensive chinesse toy for good? I have already spent so much money into it and I have to carry it back home in a backpack from all its journeys out.
Beside this I also have JJRC Q61 and it works reliably.

Ive seen a few of your videos and the first that drew me in was the Crown King Trail run with the real trucks, I am almost finished with my 4x4 blazer and am eager to begin modding my B16 flatbed. Gotta ask, is there a better gearbox for lower gear for more power? the 2 speeds I see available are looking like faster gear boxes for top speed but Id like more torque for crawling. I will sort thru your videos and check out the mods, if ever a meetup occurs in phx i would be down to checkout the trucks and wheel a little one of these days. Happy offroading to yall!!
