Cessna 210 Gear Retraction on stands

The Cessna 210G is on jack stands, the hydraulic mule is connected to take the place of the engine driven hydraulic pump. Move the handle to the retract position and the gear begins its cycle. Once the doors are closed the system runs for about 10 seconds until the selector handle goes back to neutral. At that point there is no pressure anywhere on the system and oil is simply being recirculated by the engine driven pump from the reservoir to the pump and back again.
