How to setup NodeJs Environment Variable in 2020 | Learn Some Tech

NodeJs is using worldwide nowadays and the favorite of almost every JavaScript programmer.

To set the environment variable and especially in windows you have to follow a few simple steps:
1. First, go to the destination where you have installed NodeJs.
2. Copy the folder path
3. Now, open "My Computer (This Pc) and go to its property by right click.
4. Click on advanced settings and go to environment variables
5. look for the path option and click on it and then edit.
6. Click on "New" and paste the path that you have just copied.

Congratulations! you have successfully set up the environment variable for nodejs.

PSA: Until I restarted, node wasn't recognized in command prompt even after doing as instructed in the 3 videos. Just an FYI for anyone else who encounters the same problem.

when i am typing in npm it's showing:
