😭😭I call my self a Christian but stopped praying to the Lord for a very very very long time. I'm wrapped up in guilt and I find myself praying only when I'm in need of something. From today Hence forth I promise to do my best and try to improve on strengthening my bond with him and try as much as possible to fight my sins. I only pray he forgives me as I try to better myself.

Some specific way I think prepare for Jesus coming :
•Repent of the sins I know I'm doing
• Do the will of God ( like obeying his word, resist temptations)
• pray well that God will keep us spotless, clean to the the very end and that any way we displease him through our thoughts or actions that he should help us to correct this

We prepare by using Advent devotions, attending church services and participating in the Means of Grace.

How does a person who's born-again as a New Creation (2Cor5:17), washed by the blood of Christ (Rev1:5), imputed with the righteousness of Jesus Christ (Phil3:9), justified by faith in the finished work of Jesus (Gal2:16), indwelled by the Holy Spirit (Eph1:13) & bearing the Holiness of Jesus (1Cor1:30), prepare of the coming of their Savior?
Aren't these things what Jesus is going to be looking for when He comes?

Let's stop deceiving people by placing man-made traditions as having anything to do with "preparation" for His coming.
There's only one preparation: "being BORN AGAIN" (John 3:3).

IO must ask you this, Why do you partake in that heathen time of worship called X Mas celebrated by all the ungodly?
Christ was not born in December but in the fall of the year and we can find that truth in the Word of God!
The world celebrates that holiday with foolishness in so many ways!
