- ka'ab ra narrates his own story 40 years later to his son and that's how we get to know about this story
- ka'ab ra was distracted and delayed going out for battle of khyber with prophet pbuh and muslim army
- he told Prophet pbuh truth about it after prophet returned from battlefield, ka'ab ra regretted that he failed
- surah touba, "life has become so difficult and earth has suffocated us despite its vastness."
- surah touba, 17-18 ayats regards to them
- liars are ruined, reward of telling truth is greater
- the day allah forgives you is the best day existing on the earth
- he died of natural causes at very very old age
- most of his narrated hadith of prophet pbuh is about travelling habits of prophet pbuh
