I waisted so much film and ink trying to do this hack. I thought the film had to be taped to the paper. That’s not true. The film is translucent so the printer can’t see it. Try just one long strip of tape in the center of the back side. It works every time!

Just curious I know you didn't mention it but did you cure the powder before applying to shirt?

😮 This is amazing however you forgot to say after you print, Powder, next heat it So the Adhesive property can melt into the artwork. Then you he press it on the shirt

I used a regular hp inkjet printer & it worked just fine & I used a heat gun to cure it.

You make it look so easy. I printed mine put the powder on it. Shook off excess and put on tshirt. Pressed at 385 for 40 seconds but it doesn't peel off easily at all, mine sticks to shirt and makes it look awful. Do you have any idea what I may be doing wrong

I am late to the party but I followed your instructions and it worked for me. I used an inkjet printer. I will wait 24 hours to see if the color fades.

I saw a youtuber heat press vinyl to the shirt then placed the printed dtf on top & pressed it. So no vinyl & weeding needed?

Don’t we have to let the remaining powder on the paper melt a little (just sit under heat press plate) before placing it on the item so it will stick? Just wondering bc the one time I didn’t on black it didn’t work out. It could have been the DTF powder. Just confirming.
