Meet Porter, 2023 Children's Miracle Network Champion patient for Children's Hospital Colorado.
Porter was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) when he was two years old. His cancer journey has included at least a dozen hospitalizations -- including two birthdays and Christmas - but he says the special touches provided by the hospital made his visits more fun than scary.
Porter completed three and a half years of treatment in September 2020, and has been doing great ever since. Porter often asks his parents when he gets to go back to "his hospital" and doesn't even mind his follow-up appointments. Now that he's fully recovered, Porter spends his free time playing baseball, hockey, singing and dancing.
