Thanks EMT! This is great, and I had no idea this sort of accessory was available. It will come in handy with my DJI OM4 when filming after dark and in lowlight/indoor video situations, and now I know what what to use my Amazon gift card on that I received this past Christmas.

Hi, is this light only good for selfies? Because it faces towards you, it wouldn't be any good for filming using the back camera and other subjects, or is there any way of doing this? Thanks

What you don't say and neither does DJI on their site or Amazon advertising text is that it is restricted to selfie mode of shooting. This is important since I bought it to shoot travel food and hotel articles where I often need a soft light when the sun goes down by the time dessert is served and some rooms can tend to be a bit dark or have dark areas. But having forked over the near $60 USD, I find I can't use it for what I bought it for. I don't do selfie shooting preferring not to have my ugly mug on video but instead to have the subject matter I am covering instead. Can you address this or do you have any ideas on how I could use this forward facing instead of backward facing? Thanks.

One issue that’s been bugging me is that I want to keep my iPhone 13 pro in its case when attached to the OM5. The magnetic clamp 2 that comes with the OM5 can secure the iPhone 13 pro, but the case makes it too thick to do so securely. After some shakes, the clamp comes loose and the phone can fall. Does this light clamp have secure any better with the 13 pro (or pro max) when inside a case? I can’t tell from the video if the sides of the light clamp are more squared off and/or if the sides of the clamp extend higher. Do they? If so, I may just buy this clamp simply for the ability to better secure the iPhone 13 pro in a case. Thanks!

It’s great for selfies, yeah, but what if I am filming someone else? I don’t do selfies. For me, pointing only one way is a deal breaker and I already bought one! Am I missing something?

I watched this video and this looks like a great add on. I watched a video you did a few years ago on attaching a rode micro to an earlier model DJI om. I'm wondering what cool ideas you have for the OM5.

If I film, in restaurant, a group at table, I want to bounce the gadget off the ceiling, indirect. What is best (95% “universal application for beginners”) setting, what would you set it to. Just bought it.
