i have om5 but why dji make easy to update firmware to active trk5 no need to buy new om6 to have that very bat trick from dji

Don't bother upgrading if you're on Android. DJI has such terrible Android support. Cant film in 4k and forget about 60fps.

You need to use stock camera apps or filmic pro to be able to film in 4k or 60fps, but can't use the osmo app features when you do that.

Will not be buying a new gimbal until they start optimising for Android. Extremely disappointing. It's been the same features since OM3.

I bought the OM4 because of the magnetic attachment, but now there's no real point upgrading.

I have the 5 with an iPhone 11 Pro and the balance is awful on it, I’ll be filming and it’ll suddenly just fall from landscape into portrait. The range of angles on it are awful as well

Hopefully the DJI App got a big upgrade. When filming anything low light with the iPhone 14 and OM4 the footage is nearly unusable. Its dark and grainy. The only way to get usable footage is using iphones native camera app but then you lose all the features that make these gimbals worth it. Its a bit confusing because the market for these things seem to be semi-professional content creator yet the camera API suggests its for point and shooters. It would be nice for some of the focus to move from hardware to software, perhaps partnering with Filmic to deliver great video with less compromise
