Michael Nyman - 'Odessa Steps' scene from Battleship Potemkin

This piece (titled 'Disaster') was originally written in 1989 as part of a multimedia ballet inspired by Brueghel the Elder's painting 'Landscape with Fall of Icarus'. It was later reused in a modified form in Nyman's 2011 score for the famous 1923 film Battleship Potemkin by Sergei Eisenstein.
