There is a trick to the footrest that the flight attendants should have told you about. They are locked at the up position and to unlock, you just need to push up on them with your feet and then they will unlock. Also, the legroom in the bulkhead of economy will always have more legroom than the seats you are sitting in. Too bad the recline wasn’t that good.

So this video was super helpful ty 💕 I’m sitting in the front row and thinking now that might be the way to go because there’s extra leg room. It’s a bummer your seat couldn’t recline much, esp for the price you pay.

My husband had this on and I thought it was professional from American Airlines. I wasn’t paying a lot of attention to the details, but when he said it was a passenger I wanted to hear it for myself. 😂
We took this trip in 2018 and it looks like everything is basically the same. The color of the toiletries bag was black, and the pillow was more basic. That’s about it that I can see.
Considering it’s 15 1/2 hours, it went by quite quick in premium economy with the extras like room to sleep…. lol. And the food was good. Maybe I should book another flight!! 😅
