As a traditional Catholic, I share Ben's frustration. Some Catholics are proudly pro-abortion in spite of the Bible and the Catechism stating otherwise, as well as widespread immodest dress, even at Holy Mass. It saddens me that so many are drawn away from God by a desire to fit into a worldly culture. A few years ago, I left an employer who told me that I should not wear a crucifix, scapular or miraculous medal to work because it makes people "uncomfortable." I wasn't singing hymns from atop the copy machine or handing out Bibles in the hallways. Just my wearing a necklace was enough to warrant an inappropriate and uncomfortable meeting with my strangely enough is also "Catholic."
Ben is also right about the need for the pro-life movement to be more than Catholic. While I'm overjoyed at the way Catholics turn out to fight against the evils of abortion, it would be even better to see people of all faiths standing up for the rights of the unborn, and for the rights of our Heavenly Father, who placed that little life in a womb for a purpose.

Great interview, you let your guest speak. As a regular listener to Ben, these are subjects he rarely addresses directly. Unfortunately, horrific events of 4 weeks ago forced him to spend much more time on it. As a Christian, I find the discussion interesting because it is so much more than what I was taught as a child about Hanukkah and Jewish games.
