Atilla Engin was a Turkish Jazz drummer.
He was active in Turkey in 1970's and then moved to Denmark, continued to making music and recorded great Folk/Jazz albums there. Some hard-hitting rhythm section blending into a prime example of the swingin' sound of the cool influences of Jazz, Funk and Folk music, with a Turkish flavor..
An instrumental library of traditional Turkish Jazz session reaching a great climax in drums and percussion sets + electro-bass break Traditional Turkish songs are based on drums and synth bass over moody 5/8 saxophone and drumbash..

Produced by Per Meistrup
Ole Thoger : Alto Saxophone, Flute
Jens Melgard : Bass Guitar
Ole Matthiessen : Piano
Simon Spang-Hanssen : Tenor & Soprano Saxophone
