Hi Rob!! amazing tut! here a couple of ideas (or anyway some of which i was trying to solve myself at home):

-creation of pattern with uniform grout thickness using math functions (for example customizable herringbone or bricks or similar)
-correct usage of warps or slope blurs in order to build a nice albedo (unlike sculpting with heightmaps, it's always a challenge to make a belivable color for the material)
-believable wood grain

Hello, can you tell me the amount of previous experience realistically needed to take the (masterclass) course and not be overwhelmed? Also (serious question) is it okay to not be able to speak Italian? Finally (sorry, one more question) will the courses be available again soon, re the pandemic?

I really feel like you should have talked about opacity more with the various outputs considering that's an important subject for most decals that you create by yourself...
