Baby Jesus statute returned to Nativity scene.

he Indiana Masonic Home just wanted its baby Jesus back. And it got it.

The statue was stolen over the weekend from the Franklin retirement facility's Nativity scene. The Daily Journal reports it's the first time in the display's 11-year history that one of the figures has gone missing.

We first reported on this Thursday evening. By Friday morning, police said the statue was returned to its home, though investigators still can't say who took it.

Indiana Masonic Home interim director Ed Fodrea says the baby Jesus is an easy target because the figure weighs just 20 to 25 pounds and is about 2 feet long. The other four statues in the display weigh about 80 pounds each and aren't as portable.
