none of the materials she chose to use appeared warn. It all was new looking. Are they 'seconds' materials that didn't quite make retail-grade? is it art? is it inspiration for humans to repurpose or to reduce reuse recycle? what am i looking at?

Is this an advert without stating that it is an advert in text?!

Wow. Amazing episode Vice! I love how you've championed an artist who tries to live a playful and sustainable lifestyle whilst simultaneously trying to ram the very antithesis of her principles down our throats. *Slow claps, rolls eyes, walks away*

Where do they find these high hippies who think they're being original and unique?

having limits (using scraps of fabric, communication through our hands) always brings out the most creativity. this is so cool to see

This is art, not sustainability. None of this is in itself very useful although it is cool looking and all her materials look brand new. Maybe I was just watching the whole thing feeling really sour after that unsavoury car ad.

Awesome. I had a pair of rugged hiking tights that didn't come with a waist chord so I took two shorter ones from other pants, melted and pressed of the tips together on the stove, threaded them through two small cuts in the circumference of the waist section, and secured them with a bit of sewing.

Satisfying and fun indeed.

shouldn't this be labeled with sponsored?

sustainability is not taking the outcome of overproduction and make new (unwearable) products out of it. it means to reduce the outcome.

Cool vice showing how Nicole does some repurposing with stuff we already have! Essentially art of recycling, I appreciate that your able to be a designer that’s really inspiring to others. Art definitely is mute and communication is through visuals.
