Try the clap on 2 and 3, and maybe not even a clap. The deep percussion/snare used in melodic techno works really well in this style. Also some reverb claps would be nice as well, since most of the reverb in the song is only coming from the synthesized sounds (bass and lead)

The song title should be “out of time” because that synth lead seems so out of time. Still sounds fab tho. Nice work.

Why you don't play the first midi note of the bass after the Kick hits. In this way you don't need to sidechain and still you have the Pump effect. Do you have a particular reason for not doing this way, friend?

You should be able to crank out 2-3 songs a week, Jon...plus sign other stuff to your label. That would give you greater exposure and more revenue. If you did 4 releases a month, that is 48 a year!
