Why does everything feel different now? It feels like people use to be happier and life was simpler. I believe it has to do with our attention spans. The average human attention span has decreased significantly over the last two decades. Shorter attention spans are affecting our ability to connect with each other, our happiness, and sense of purpose. But what caused the decline in our attention spans and what should we do about it? I answer all of these questions in this video.

It is a very rare occurrence that the almighty algorithm recommends first class content done by an unknown channel. This was one of these pleasant surprises. Thank you! I know a few people who should watch this video. I subscribed instantly and am going to explore your channel.

I had immediately put the video into full screen. End of the video I though “Hey, this guy seems pretty cool, I might sub.” My jaw DROPPED. 189 SUBS?!? HOW IS THIS MAN SO UNDERRATED?!? Immediately subbed and clicked the bell.

throughout the course of the video, i thought that you would've had atleast a couple hundred thousand subs for this level of production quality. it shocked me when you mentioned that you were nearing a hundred subscribers, you deserve more subscribers.
also cool video

YouTube and Facebook are my biggest stimulator consuming me every day. I already deleted TikTok and it has small progress I think.
I can't figure out the quality of the life I wa-, no, I need and essential to.

You know why you have no subscribers? You convinced them all that their lives are better if they minimize/leave YouTube.
Great explanation.

Nice video. I don't think our attention spans are getting shorter otherwise people wouldn't binge watch Netflix.I appreciate the quality and the editing you did with this video. Your channel is going to blow up if you keep producing content like this. Subscribed.

Don’t give up, your content is legit. This is a trend that concerns me, even scares me. It’s so true that when we have a moment - a mere second - we instantly switch to our devices. This is something we collectively must work on. Subbed man, keep it up.

how the hell do you not have more subscribers you look like a 500k sub channel yet you only have 100 great video!

This content is gold.
You spoke on a subject which no one is talking about.
Not many youtubers take such risk in their early days of journey.
I'm glad the algorithm recommended me this.
You've earned a subscriber.

Your video is spot on! I say the same thing constantly I miss te 1990s and early 2000. After 2001 everything went to hell! I dont ive on my phone ans social media. my only addiction is YT for educational and informative content. I can see people getting stupider. Parents leave kids on devices. People cant do anything with having phone in their hands everywhere.

Im so so glad more and more people are talking about this now! Lately i like to fantasize a little about a future that is more like the 90’s (in terms of technology consumption). I remember in the beginning of covid, there was this sorta period where people in my neighborhood were hanging out in the neighborhood parks frequently. I hadn’t seen so many people enjoying life without technology, in so long. I genuinely thought to myself like wow is this what it was like, that idealistic life of like the 1950’s or something.. it was almost bazaar to see. Regardless, great video! And i agree, we’ve got to find hobbies to do outside of the internet.. and not the dreaded “side hustle” either… like actual hobbies that arent also for making money (even though i know we all probably need the extra income 😩).

Didn't realise this wasn't a multi thousand views video until I saw you saying you are close to 100 subs. Got 1 sub from me!

Thanks for the video. It's a refreshing reminder that I have put off doing so many things (work, errands, hobbies, connecting with people) all because I've put them off in favour of mindless scrolling on social media. Although the irony is I'm here watching youtube. I will keep that in mind the next time I spend 5 hours scrolling during the weekend and not achieving anything or done anything meaningful at all while I watch my life goes by

I noticed it leads to bad manners and a lack of sophistication as Gen Z people have trouble engaging in a normal conversation without immediately getting distracted. (not limited to them but the younger ones are more affected).
