This session is dedicated to review and discuss the most recent advancement in diagnostic and therapeutic offerings in functional and motility disorders in cystic fibrosis. The session is chaired and moderated by Neurogastro and motility specialists from pediatric and adult gastroenterologists with specific clinical and research interests in CF. All speakers are also a part of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's DIGEST group which is heavily invested in CF-related gastrointestinal (GI) manifestations and research. In this session, we review GERD and diagnostic techniques, gastroparesis, IBS, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), and DIOS. We also discuss pros and cons of various GI motility tests.
