Winter's Tale - 'A Love Story for the Ages' Featurette [HD]

In theaters this Valentine's Day.

Set in a mythic New York City and spanning more than a century, "Winter's Tale" is a story of miracles, crossed destinies, and the age-old battle between good and evil.

The film stars Colin Farrell ("Total Recall"), Jessica Brown Findlay (TV's "Downton Abbey"), and Oscar® winners Jennifer Connelly ("A Beautiful Mind"), William Hurt ("Kiss of the Spider Woman"), Eva Marie Saint ("On the Waterfront") and Russell Crowe ("Gladiator"). "Winter's Tale" also introduces young newcomers Ripley Sobo and Mckayla Twiggs (both from Broadway's "Once").

The biggest hurdle of this movie to overcome public's inability or unwillingness to think.  They expect a lot of action/reaction/nakedness, etc. when it come to romance story.  They are not prepared or willing to think about their life and how their love and life affects everything around them for generations to come.  I think Akiva Goldsman was very VERY BRAVE to step into that territory, it's an honorable move in the right direction I think.

Most incredible movie - brilliantly cast, tears,  laughs, powerful messages, pace of thought, love "Pegasus's" smile.  Hats off to Akiva Goldsman on his directorial masterpiece.

Despite poor reviews, I recently streamed this film and really enjoyed it. The book it isn't... but the film stands in its own right :-)

A Wonderful love story which some parts I can relate..I've always wanted to be in the movies since I was young and to be saved by real love  ;) This one is just captivating.
